To celebrate the launch and showcase the true capabilities of their new Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tyres, Goodyear wanted to get bold. And it doesn’t get much bolder than creating a 16ft by 9ft masterpiece using tyres and paint. Yep, you heard us, tyres and paint. Strap in, this one’s a good’un.

To make this one happen, we collaborated with contemporary British artist Ian Cook to realise the big vision… film a brand new set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tyres as they come to life and paint an eagle on a giant canvas. Challenge accepted.
While Ian worked on the finished piece on one half of the studio, Team Rebel got to work bringing the tyres to life. Using a combination of stop motion and live-action, paint went everywhere as tyres went rollin’. We needed to make it seem as though the tyres had done Ian’s work, and we wanted it to be believable.

Skillful tyre launching, a clever edit, and a specially commissioned soundtrack really brought the tyres to life. The final piece showcases the playfulness and agility of Goodyear’s Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tyres, and was viewed over 980K times.
